Ultralight backpack ZAINO is sustainably made in the Netherlands with the recycled fabric ECOPAK™ as the main material and the heavy-duty Dyneema® Ripstop for the large mesh pocket. The small-medium weighs only 735 grams, and the medium-large weighs 795 grams.

The frameless design has simple roll-top construction which can be used for fast loading and together with the side straps the volume of the backpack is easily adjusted between 20 and 50 liters. For a comfortable fit, we advise a maximum load of 13kg.

The two big side pouches grant great access even when you are wearing the backpack on your back. The mesh pocket at the front of the backpack offers a convenient place to stash some extra gear or dry your towel.

On the back, there is space for a sitting pad to increase wearing comfort. Also, you can easily take it out to sit dry and warm anywhere in nature. A sitting pad is included with the Zaino.

With a lightweight backpack like the Zaino you can increase your pleasure on the trail.

We currently have two sizes. To determine your size you will need to measuring the length of your torso and waist.

The small-medium

  • Torso: 41-48cm
  • Waist: 77-107cm

The medium-large

  • Torso: 48-55cm
  • Waist: 84-115cm

Measure torso length:

If someone can help you measure your torso length, that will make it easier. Get a measuring tape (preferably one that is flexible, not fixed).

  1. Stand up straight and tilt your head forward slightly. The bone you distinctly feel is the C7 vertebrae (1).
  2. To determine the second point you put your hands on top of your hipbones and use your thumbs to meet at your spine. This point is the iliac crest (2)..
  3. Measure the distance between the two points, keeping the measuring tape in contact with your back.
  4. For the best result, repeat this process 3 times and take the average.

With the product images, there is a picture that can help clarify what you measure. If your torso length is between two sizes we advise you to purchase the bigger option.

To check waist size:

Use your tape measure to determine the girth of your waist, measure the circumference at the top of your hipbones.
